Life Sentence

The crime lab is attacked. Danny and Mac are investigated by Internal Affairs after killing a suspect. Mac's old partner and the ex-con reveal what happened years earlier.

Now that Arthur is back from the hospital, Carrie thinks that it is a good idea that she and Doug get life insurance. She wants to be sure that Arthur is well taken care of should something happen to either one of them. This comes as a surprise to Doug, because he has never thought about the possibility of taking care of Arthur if Carrie were to die. Meanwhile, Doug and Carrie have installed Deacon's old baby camera in the basement in order to keep tabs on Arthur due to his recent health scare. Deacon, Spence, and Danny are flipping through channels while waiting for Doug to sign the insurance papers and happen upon Arthur TV by mistake. They soon become involved in Arthur's mundane daily activities as if it were a sitcom.
