Treading on dangerous ground at home and work, Nicki endures a domestic "intervention" by Bill and Barb, followed by an unwelcome office visit from Margene. At Juniper Creek, Glory, angry at being usurped by Lura and shunned by Alby, smuggles a copy of a potentially incendiary church document to Bill, who isn't sure how to handle the discovery. Meanwhile, Joey looks to make a major life change by adding Kathy as a second wife, but Roman and Hollis Greene have other plans.

Michael's landlord asks him to help his top waitress, who is being harassed by a drug cartel because she is a witness to a brutal beating committed by their top drug-runner. In order to get the cartel off her back, Michael manages to convince them that their man is working with the feds as a cooperating witness. Meanwhile, he calls in a favor with an Egyptian spy he once rescued and asks for the file on his burn notice.

Phil and Claire return from a long reunion weekend with Phil's buddies, but Claire takes the only first seat class on their flight home. Jay teaches Manny how to defend himself against a bully who attends cooking classes with him. Mitchell, Cameron, Pepper, and their friends organize a baby shower for Sal.

Cathy and Lee (after making up) go in search of Sean. Adam also looks for his uncle and comes across some of his hobo pals, but after thinking a dead hobo could have been Sean, he rebuffs them. Lee drops out of the trial, despite Cathy's protests. Myk proposes to Andrea and she happily accepts. Cathy and Paul attend dinner at Dr. Sherman's house, and Paul's addiction to cocaine worsens.
