The majority of The Honeymooners focused on its four principal characters on fixed sets within a Brooklyn apartment building. Although various secondary characters made multiple appearances and occasional exterior shots were incorporated during editing, virtually all action and dialog was "on stage" inside the normal backdrop.

The revamped version returned to the air in 1972, and is currently still airing in the United States. From September 4, 1972 to June 15, 2007, the show was hosted by Bob Barker. On October 15, 2007, Drew Carey debuted as the new host. In this new iteration, four contestants place one bid on an initial product; the player who bids closest to the product's actual retail price without going over then gets to play one of several mini-games (dubbed Pricing Games in most countries) for an additional and more substantial prize. One contestant, through various elimination formats, could find themselves winning a large showcase of prizes at the show's conclusion. Originally thirty minutes long, the show was expanded to its current hour-long format on November 3, 1975. At this time, a new feature, the Showcase Showdown, was introduced. The three pricing game contestants from each half of the show were asked to spin a large wheel displaying various amounts from five cents up to one dollar. The contestant in each Showdown who came closest to one dollar in not more than two spins, without going over, was brought back to compete in the Showcase at the end of the show.

The story is about five year old Fudge whose family has given him an increased vocabulary, and also due to that fact, knows where babies come from, and plans to be a bird when he grows up. According to his older brother, Peter, Fudge is the biggest pain ever invented, but is loved all the same.

Sling Blade tells the story of a mentally impaired man named Karl Childers who is released from a psychiatric hospital where he has lived since killing his mother and her lover when he was 12 years old. He befriends a young boy, begins a friendship with the boy's mother and eventually confronts the mother's abusive boyfriend, as well as his own dark past.

When Peter and Chris go away to fat camp, they cross paths with a serial killer who targets overweight kids. Meanwhile, Stewie is traumatized by the frightening cover of a Queen album.
