This commercial for Ikea features the story of two lamps. The old lamp and the new lamp. A woman purchases a new lamp from Ikea, and now has no use for the old red lamp. She carries the old lamp out of the living room, the only home it's ever known, and outside to the curb on a cold, blustery evening. As the lamp sits out by the trash, in the pouring rain, the new lamp is turned on inside the home. The woman sits on the couch, cozy and warm inside the house while the old lamp is still out in the cold rain. The woman turns the new lamp off, leaving the old lamp in the dark. A man walks into the screen shot and says that many people are feeling bad for the lamp, but that is crazy. The lamp has no feelings. And the new lamp from Ikea is much better. He's right. Many of you feel bad for this lamp. That is because you're crazy. It has no feelings. And the new one is much better. Ikea unboring
