The Last Days of Disco loosely depicts the "last days" of the disco era in the early 1980s, when weirdness, sex, and drugs ran rampant. The story centers on Alice Kinnon and Charlotte Pingress, two young Manhattan women fresh out of college who work in a New York publishing house. The two women, companions but not necessarily close friends, frequent the local disco together in search of music, dance, and romance. They are starkly different in personality: Alice is intelligent, quiet, and rather soft-spoken, while Charlotte is outgoing, conceited, and brutally honest, giving Alice constant "advice". The women subsequently decide to move in together and find a third roommate, Holly, because neither of them makes quite enough money or receives enough help from her parents to cover the expense. They begin a friendship with one of the club's managers, Des, and find one-night stands and relationships through the ensuing year, until it appears that the disco era has ended.

The events focus around a crisis hotline business on one crazy night during the Christmas holidays.

Carlito's Way is a 1993 crime film based on the novel After Hours by Judge Edwin Torres ( the name was changed to Carlito's Way from the original to avoid title-conflict with another movie of same name. The film is based on After Hours, but used the title of the first novel to avoid it being confused with Martin Scorsese's 1985 film of the same name, and focuses on Carlito's activities once he is released from prison. Carlito Brigante, a fictional Puerto Rican criminal vows to go straight and to live life as a law-abiding citizen. However, his past will not let him, and he unwittingly ends up being dragged into the same criminal activities that got him imprisoned in the first place.

They decide to divide their resources: Art and Tim to create a decoy of cars leaving Harlan (without Drew Thompson) while Raylan and Rachel will stay with Drew. On the road, Art and Tim see three abandoned cars on the highway, which Tim quickly suspects is a set-up for an ambush based on bomb-rigged cars and snipers. Tim proves to be right as Colt and Mort (one of Augustine's henchman) spy from afar. Meanwhile, Raylan, Rachel, and Drew head to Raylan's old high school for safety to lay up and wait for the chopper. At Arlo's house, Bob Sweeney is held hostage by Yolo (Bobby Campo), who brutally beats him to find out where Drew Thompson is. Bob turns the tables on Yolo by playing possum and stabbing Yolo in the leg, cutting his femoral artery, when he gets close enough. After a struggle, Bob manages to get his hands on one of Yolo's guns and shoots him dead just as Raylan arrives. Back at the bar, Nick insults Ava and outs Johnny's betrayal. Ava manages to get Nick's gun after distracting Nick with brandy and a lighter to the face. Johnny has a gun on Ava and tells Ava he loves her. Ava leaves the bar and Johnny doesn't shoot her. Back at the ambush at the road, Tim gets out of the situation by blowing up one of the booby-trapped cars with a Molotov cocktail, allowing the law enforcement to escape and rush to Raylan's aid. Boyd and Picker (John Kapelos) show up at the high school where Raylan refuses to hand Drew over before telling them to come back with more men. This buys enough time for Drew to escape Harlan safely by means of a coal train.

Donna's show-off and bossy sister, Janet, and her unruly children come to town to celebrate Thanksgiving with the Browns. Cleveland, still bruised by their past, wants nothing to do with her this Thanksgiving and attempts to drive her out. However, his plan backfires when Janet and Holt fall in love and run away to Las Vegas to elope, saddling Cleveland and Donna with the responsibility of Janet's kids. Donna, Cleveland and the kids immediately head to Vegas to confront Janet and save their family Thanksgiving. While in Vegas, Rallo and Cleveland Jr. stumble upon a winning slot machine and find a woman of age to cash it in for them in exchange for an "escort" to dinner.

After several futile attempts to "prove" that Cherrywood Manor has enough historical value to cover the bid, Peter makes up with Lois and uncovers a set of hidden photographs which show several prominent American figures (including Abraham Lincoln, Robert E. Lee, and Ulysses S. Grant) at Cherrywood Manor, which was a whorehouse at the time. This discovery allows Peter to buy back his home after selling the pictures to the tabloids. Afterwards, Peter decides that he does not care what Lois' relatives think of him, calling them "a bunch of pimps and whores".
